It's Been a Week Weak

The past week has been "crunch time" for the GSP360 project, as well as Valentine's Day and some assorted other bullshit. So here's a recap:

Valentine's Day weekend went by too quickly, but it was good. Hannah came in Friday night and left Sunday evening, and in the time between we had a Bus Adventure to Tyson's Corner, we went to the South Indian place down the street and the Delia's (a pretty classy Italian place with excellent calamari) and Friday's, saw Push (which was actually pretty good, I liked it) and played some video games, among other things. Gabe noticed my hickey this time, which was reassuring (I try to think I'm not super-crazy, but I might be). In all it was time and money well spent, although I don't know how often I can be doing that.

The Bus Adventure was actually only taking 28B from King Street to Tyson's Corner because Pentagon Station was closed for maintenance all weekend. It was kind of exciting to see the area more, and most of it looked pretty nice.

I've been coding like a madman again, which suits me, but because of the lost coding time over the weekend I had to double my pace to get the gold version done for class Wednesday. It was finished Wednesday morning at around 6:30 AM after about 4 hours of sleep. So I've been overworked and underslept still, which I'm guessing will be constant until forever. Fucking life.

Good news is I had time to finish Girly, all six-hundred something of them. It was very enjoyable, and I don't regret it. Now I'm probably going to read the comic it spawned from, Cute Wendy, just for the sake of history.

I found, demoed, caved and bought an indie game made by a Swedish group called Penumbra, part One actually (it's episodic) and I love it to death. Adventure Survival/Horror Stealth, as a genre, and the interaction with objects in-game is done so well you have to try the demo for at least that.

And that's been the past week. I'll try to update more frequently this week.
